GR Image Paste Description

Blend images seamlessly with adjustable opacity for AI artists to create composite images with smooth transitions and perfect fit.

GR Image Paste:

The GR Image Paste node is designed to seamlessly blend two images together by adjusting the opacity of the overlay image. This node is particularly useful for AI artists who want to create composite images or add subtle overlays to their artwork. By controlling the opacity, you can achieve a smooth transition between the base image and the overlay, allowing for creative and visually appealing results. The node automatically resizes the overlay image to match the dimensions of the base image, ensuring a perfect fit without any manual adjustments. This functionality is essential for creating cohesive and professional-looking compositions.

GR Image Paste Input Parameters:

image1

This parameter represents the base image onto which the overlay image will be pasted. It is the primary image that will remain visible in the areas where the overlay image is transparent. The base image should be in a compatible format and resolution for optimal results.

image2

This parameter represents the overlay image that will be pasted onto the base image. The overlay image will be resized to match the dimensions of the base image, ensuring a seamless blend. The content of this image will be visible based on the specified opacity level.

opacity

This parameter controls the transparency level of the overlay image. It accepts an integer value ranging from 0 to 100, where 0 means the overlay image is completely transparent (invisible), and 100 means the overlay image is fully opaque. The default value is set to 100, which means the overlay image will be fully visible. Adjusting this value allows you to achieve the desired blend between the base and overlay images.

GR Image Paste Output Parameters:

IMAGE

The output is a single composite image that results from blending the base image and the overlay image based on the specified opacity. This composite image retains the dimensions of the base image and incorporates the visual elements of the overlay image according to the opacity setting. The output image is ready for further processing or final use in your creative projects.

GR Image Paste Usage Tips:

  • To achieve a subtle overlay effect, set the opacity parameter to a lower value, such as 20 or 30, which will make the overlay image partially transparent and blend smoothly with the base image.
  • Ensure that both the base and overlay images are of high quality and have similar color profiles to avoid any unexpected color shifts or artifacts in the final composite image.
  • Experiment with different opacity levels to find the perfect balance for your specific project, as the ideal setting can vary depending on the content and desired outcome.

GR Image Paste Common Errors and Solutions:

No image file selected.

  • Explanation: This error occurs when no image is provided for either the base or overlay image parameters.
  • Solution: Ensure that both the image1 and image2 parameters are populated with valid image files before executing the node.

Image dimensions mismatch.

  • Explanation: This error might occur if there is an issue with resizing the overlay image to match the base image dimensions.
  • Solution: Verify that the images are in compatible formats and that the overlay image can be resized without any issues. If the problem persists, try using images with similar aspect ratios.

Invalid opacity value.

  • Explanation: This error occurs when the opacity parameter is set to a value outside the allowed range of 0 to 100.
  • Solution: Adjust the opacity parameter to a valid integer value within the range of 0 to 100 and re-execute the node.
