🌁 CR Feathered Border Description

Enhance images with soft, feathered borders for seamless integration and polished transitions.

🌁 CR Feathered Border:

The CR Feathered Border node is designed to enhance your images by adding a soft, feathered border around them. This node is particularly useful for creating visually appealing transitions between the image and its background, giving a more polished and professional look to your artwork. The feathered border effect helps to blend the edges of the image smoothly, making it ideal for creating collages, overlays, or any composition where a seamless integration of images is desired. By adjusting the thickness and feather amount, you can control the intensity and softness of the border, allowing for a wide range of creative possibilities.

🌁 CR Feathered Border Input Parameters:

image

This parameter takes the input image to which the feathered border will be applied. The image should be in a compatible format that the node can process.

top_thickness

This parameter defines the thickness of the border at the top of the image. The value is measured in pixels. Increasing this value will make the top border thicker. Minimum value: 0, Maximum value: dependent on image size, Default value: 0.

bottom_thickness

This parameter defines the thickness of the border at the bottom of the image. The value is measured in pixels. Increasing this value will make the bottom border thicker. Minimum value: 0, Maximum value: dependent on image size, Default value: 0.

left_thickness

This parameter defines the thickness of the border on the left side of the image. The value is measured in pixels. Increasing this value will make the left border thicker. Minimum value: 0, Maximum value: dependent on image size, Default value: 0.

right_thickness

This parameter defines the thickness of the border on the right side of the image. The value is measured in pixels. Increasing this value will make the right border thicker. Minimum value: 0, Maximum value: dependent on image size, Default value: 0.

border_color

This parameter specifies the color of the border. It can be defined using RGB values or a hexadecimal color code. The color chosen will be applied to the border area.

feather_amount

This parameter controls the amount of feathering applied to the border. Feathering softens the edges of the border, creating a gradient effect that blends the border with the image. Higher values result in a more pronounced feathering effect. Minimum value: 0, Maximum value: dependent on image size, Default value: 0.

border_color_hex

This optional parameter allows you to specify the border color using a hexadecimal color code. If provided, it overrides the border_color parameter. Default value: #000000.

🌁 CR Feathered Border Output Parameters:

image_with_border

This output parameter provides the image with the applied feathered border. The resulting image will have the specified border thickness and feathering effect, seamlessly blending with the original image.

🌁 CR Feathered Border Usage Tips:

  • Experiment with different feather_amount values to achieve the desired softness for your border. A higher feather amount can create a more subtle and blended effect.
  • Use contrasting border_color or border_color_hex values to make the border stand out, or choose similar colors to create a more harmonious and integrated look.
  • Adjust the top_thickness, bottom_thickness, left_thickness, and right_thickness parameters independently to create custom border designs, such as thicker borders on specific sides.

🌁 CR Feathered Border Common Errors and Solutions:

Invalid image format

  • Explanation: The input image is not in a compatible format.
  • Solution: Ensure that the image is in a supported format such as JPEG, PNG, or BMP.
