STEREOSCOPIC (JOV) 🕶️ Description

Simulate depth perception in images with customizable 3D effect using stereoscopic views for immersive visual experiences.

STEREOSCOPIC (JOV) 🕶️:

The Stereoscopic node simulates depth perception in images by generating stereoscopic views. This node is designed to create a 3D effect by producing two slightly different images for the left and right eyes, mimicking the way human vision perceives depth. It allows you to adjust parameters such as baseline and focal length to customize the depth effect, making it a powerful tool for creating immersive visual experiences. Additionally, it accepts an optional input image for color matte, which can be used to enhance the stereoscopic effect by adding color information to the depth map. This node is particularly useful for AI artists looking to add a sense of realism and depth to their digital artworks.

STEREOSCOPIC (JOV) 🕶️ Input Parameters:

PIXEL

This optional parameter allows you to input an image that will be used as a color matte. The color matte can enhance the stereoscopic effect by adding color information to the depth map. This parameter accepts any image type.

INT

This parameter controls the baseline, which is the distance between the two virtual cameras used to create the stereoscopic effect. Adjusting the baseline changes the perceived depth in the final image. The default value is 0.1, with a minimum of 0 and a maximum of 1, and it can be adjusted in steps of 0.01. A larger baseline will increase the depth effect, while a smaller baseline will reduce it.

FOCAL

This parameter sets the focal length of the virtual cameras. The focal length affects the field of view and the depth of field in the stereoscopic image. The default value is 500, with a minimum of 0, and it can be adjusted in steps of 0.01. A longer focal length will narrow the field of view and increase the depth of field, while a shorter focal length will widen the field of view and decrease the depth of field.

STEREOSCOPIC (JOV) 🕶️ Output Parameters:

IMAGE

The output of this node is a stereoscopic image that simulates depth perception. The image is generated by combining the left and right views created based on the input parameters. This output can be used to create 3D visual effects in digital artworks, providing a more immersive and realistic experience.

STEREOSCOPIC (JOV) 🕶️ Usage Tips:

  • Experiment with different baseline values to achieve the desired depth effect. A larger baseline will create a more pronounced 3D effect, while a smaller baseline will produce a subtler effect.
  • Adjust the focal length to control the field of view and depth of field. This can help you focus on specific areas of the image and create a more dynamic composition.
  • Use a color matte image to enhance the stereoscopic effect by adding color information to the depth map. This can make the final image more visually appealing and realistic.

STEREOSCOPIC (JOV) 🕶️ Common Errors and Solutions:

"Invalid baseline value"

  • Explanation: The baseline value provided is outside the acceptable range (0 to 1).
  • Solution: Ensure that the baseline value is within the range of 0 to 1 and adjust it in steps of 0.01.

"Invalid focal length value"

  • Explanation: The focal length value provided is less than the minimum allowed value of 0.
  • Solution: Ensure that the focal length value is 0 or greater and adjust it in steps of 0.01.

"Optional image not provided"

  • Explanation: No image was provided for the optional PIXEL parameter.
  • Solution: If you want to use a color matte, provide an image for the PIXEL parameter. If not, you can ignore this parameter.
