𝄏 Blended Transition Description

Create smooth video frame transitions with adjustable fade duration for professional-looking video effects.

Blended Transition [DVB]:

The Blended Transition [DVB] node is designed to create a smooth transition between two sets of video frames, blending them seamlessly over a specified duration. This node is particularly useful for AI artists looking to merge two different video sequences in a visually appealing manner. By adjusting the fade duration, you can control how gradually one frame set transitions into the next, ensuring a fluid and professional-looking result. This node is essential for creating sophisticated video effects and enhancing the overall quality of your video projects.

Blended Transition [DVB] Input Parameters:

frames_first

This parameter represents the first set of frames that will be used in the transition. It is crucial that this frame set does not contain any gaps and has the same frame rate and image dimensions as the second frame set to ensure a smooth transition.

frames_after

This parameter represents the second set of frames that will be used in the transition. Similar to the first frame set, it must not contain any gaps and must match the frame rate and image dimensions of the first frame set.

fade_seconds

This parameter specifies the duration of the fade transition in seconds. The fade duration determines how long it takes for the first frame set to blend into the second frame set. The default value is 1.0 seconds, with a minimum value of 0.1 seconds and adjustable in steps of 0.1 seconds.

Blended Transition [DVB] Output Parameters:

frames

The output parameter is a new frame set that represents the blended transition between the two input frame sets. This frame set will have the same frame rate and image dimensions as the input frame sets, ensuring consistency and smooth playback.

Blended Transition [DVB] Usage Tips:

  • Ensure that both input frame sets have the same frame rate and image dimensions to avoid errors and achieve a smooth transition.
  • Adjust the fade_seconds parameter to control the duration of the transition. A longer fade duration will result in a more gradual blend, while a shorter duration will create a quicker transition.
  • Use this node to create professional-looking video effects, such as transitioning between scenes or merging different video clips seamlessly.

Blended Transition [DVB] Common Errors and Solutions:

Frame sets must not contain gaps!

  • Explanation: This error occurs when one or both of the input frame sets contain gaps in their indices.
  • Solution: Ensure that both frame sets are continuous and do not have any missing frames before using them as inputs.

Frame sets must have the same frame rate!

  • Explanation: This error is triggered when the input frame sets have different frame rates.
  • Solution: Verify that both frame sets have the same frame rate and adjust them if necessary before using them as inputs.

Frame sets must have the same image dimensions!

  • Explanation: This error occurs when the input frame sets have different image dimensions.
  • Solution: Ensure that both frame sets have the same image dimensions before using them as inputs.
