IMG_blender Description

Seamlessly blend images for smooth transitions and composite creations with control over image influence and compatibility.

IMG_blender:

The IMG_blender node is designed to seamlessly blend two images together, allowing you to create smooth transitions and composite images with ease. This node is particularly useful for AI artists looking to merge different visual elements into a cohesive whole. By adjusting the weight of each image, you can control the influence of each source image in the final blended result. The node ensures that the images are compatible in terms of size and batch dimensions, making the blending process straightforward and efficient. Whether you are creating artistic compositions or enhancing visual effects, IMG_blender provides a flexible and powerful tool for image manipulation.

IMG_blender Input Parameters:

image1

This parameter represents the first image to be blended. It is an essential input that contributes to the final blended image. The image should be in the format of a tensor with dimensions corresponding to batch size, height, width, and channels.

image2

This parameter represents the second image to be blended. Similar to image1, it is a crucial input that influences the final output. The image should also be in the format of a tensor with dimensions corresponding to batch size, height, width, and channels.

image1_weight

This parameter controls the weight of the first image in the blending process. It determines how much influence image1 has on the final blended image. The value ranges from 0 to 1, with a default value of 0.5. A value closer to 1 gives more prominence to image1, while a value closer to 0 gives more prominence to image2.

IMG_blender Output Parameters:

IMAGE

The output is the blended image, which is a tensor representing the combination of image1 and image2 based on the specified weight. This output retains the dimensions of the input images and provides a seamless blend that can be used for further processing or final output.

IMG_blender Usage Tips:

  • To achieve a balanced blend, use the default weight of 0.5 for image1_weight. This ensures that both images contribute equally to the final result.
  • If you want one image to dominate the blend, adjust the image1_weight closer to 1 for image1 or closer to 0 for image2. - Ensure that both input images have the same batch size to avoid errors during the blending process.

IMG_blender Common Errors and Solutions:

Images must have the same batch size for blending!

  • Explanation: This error occurs when the batch sizes of image1 and image2 do not match.
  • Solution: Ensure that both input images have the same batch size before passing them to the node.

Unsupported blend mode: <mode>

  • Explanation: This error occurs when an unsupported blend mode is specified.
  • Solution: Use only the supported blend modes as defined in the node's implementation. If you encounter this error, check the blend mode parameter and correct it to a valid option.
