LayerFilter: HDR Effects Description

Enhance image quality with HDR effects, adjust intensity, contrast, and colors for dynamic visuals.

LayerFilter: HDR Effects:

The LayerFilter: HDR Effects node is designed to enhance the visual quality of your images by applying High Dynamic Range (HDR) effects. This node allows you to adjust various parameters such as HDR intensity, shadow intensity, highlight intensity, gamma intensity, contrast, and color enhancement to achieve a more dynamic and visually appealing result. By fine-tuning these settings, you can bring out more details in both the shadows and highlights, improve the overall contrast, and enhance the colors in your images. This node is particularly useful for AI artists looking to add a professional touch to their digital artwork, making it more vibrant and lifelike.

LayerFilter: HDR Effects Input Parameters:

image

This parameter accepts the input image that you want to apply the HDR effects to. The image should be in a compatible format that the node can process.

hdr_intensity

This parameter controls the intensity of the HDR effect applied to the image. A higher value will result in a more pronounced HDR effect, enhancing the dynamic range of the image. The value ranges from 0.0 to 5.0, with a default value of 0.5.

shadow_intensity

This parameter adjusts the intensity of the shadows in the image. Increasing this value will make the shadows darker and more defined. The value ranges from 0.0 to 1.0, with a default value of 0.25.

highlight_intensity

This parameter controls the intensity of the highlights in the image. A higher value will make the highlights brighter and more prominent. The value ranges from 0.0 to 1.0, with a default value of 0.75.

gamma_intensity

This parameter adjusts the gamma correction of the image, which affects the overall brightness and contrast. The value ranges from 0.0 to 1.0, with a default value of 0.25.

contrast

This parameter controls the contrast level of the image. Increasing this value will make the dark areas darker and the light areas lighter, enhancing the overall contrast. The value ranges from 0.0 to 1.0, with a default value of 0.1.

enhance_color

This parameter adjusts the color enhancement of the image. A higher value will make the colors more vibrant and saturated. The value ranges from 0.0 to 1.0, with a default value of 0.25.

LayerFilter: HDR Effects Output Parameters:

image

The output parameter is the processed image with the applied HDR effects. This image will have enhanced dynamic range, improved contrast, and more vibrant colors based on the input parameters you have set.

LayerFilter: HDR Effects Usage Tips:

  • Experiment with the hdr_intensity parameter to find the right balance for your image. Too high a value might make the image look unnatural.
  • Use the shadow_intensity and highlight_intensity parameters to bring out details in the darker and lighter areas of your image, respectively.
  • Adjust the gamma_intensity to fine-tune the overall brightness and contrast of your image.
  • Increase the contrast parameter to make your image more dynamic, but be cautious not to overdo it as it might lead to loss of detail.
  • Enhance the colors of your image using the enhance_color parameter to make your artwork more vibrant and appealing.

LayerFilter: HDR Effects Common Errors and Solutions:

"Invalid image format"

  • Explanation: The input image is not in a compatible format.
  • Solution: Ensure that the image is in a format supported by the node, such as JPEG or PNG.

"Parameter value out of range"

  • Explanation: One or more input parameters have values outside the allowed range.
  • Solution: Check the parameter values and ensure they are within the specified ranges.

"Processing error"

  • Explanation: An error occurred during the processing of the image.
  • Solution: Verify that all input parameters are set correctly and try again. If the problem persists, check for any issues with the input image.
